Volunteering Opportunity - Volunteers required to assist over four days (Aug 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th) when Manchester Golf Club, (next to Hopwood Hall College, Middleton) host a major England U14s Golf Junior Boys International Tournament. , It's going to be a great three days of what will be excellent Junior International standard Golf, you will have the opportunity to see some of the stars of the future do battle around the picturesque and challenging 240 acres of Manchester Golf Club which is predominantly moorland in character. We are looking for a number of enthusiastic people to assist us over four days with a variety of tasks. No experience is necessary as any training you need will be given on the day. Key tasks will be Club 'Meet and Greet' personnel A smiley face general volunteer - Answering the where and when questions. Tournament Scoreboard Monitors at fixed points on the golf course Tournament Walking scoreboards Tournament Spotters / Safety Monitors Attendance is broken down into sessions on each day, please indicate which you can offer your time at, you are not restricted to either/or on each day, so you can 'multi' pick sessions over each day of the tournament. Please note that attendance on Monday the 7th Aug is ONLY for the volunteer briefing at 5-30pm (for 2hrs max) at the club. You should do your best to attend this if you are selected to volunteer, however if you cannot make this date then still apply and we will discuss the details of what we would like you to do separate from this briefing meeting. .
